Hi everybody, welcome back to Couple’s Night Out Friday! This week we have a post for you with a couple’s bucket list to try out. COVID may make some of the items here a bit challenging, but the majority can be done in private, either in the home or outside, with just you and your significant other. This bucket list, while a little cheesy, can really help increase romance and intimacy in your relationship, and create some great memories to treasure later.

Though a couples relationship doesn’t always replicate the ideal duos in the popular romantic movies, it can be quite an adventure filled with fun couple activities, romantic date nights, meaningful bonding and crazy things to do to help to bond your special relationship. That is, if you design it that way.
Enter…the Ultimate Couples Bucket List.
A rewarding relationship should be filled with experiences that create wonderful memories, bring you two closer together, make you laugh and nonverbally say “I love you”. Here are dozens of the best ideas to make sure you don’t get stuck in the monotony of the day to day routine and start bonding over exciting new adventures.
1. ✦ Have a Tech-Free Date Day Together
2. ✧ Plan Your Future
3. ✦ Get a Couples Massage
A couples massage is one of the hottest treatments at luxury spas all over the world. What could be more romantic than lying side-by-side with your boyfriend, girlfriend or spouse other in the most relaxing environment? If a full body massage is not your cup of tea, try a soothing foot massage, where you will get your tootsies rubbed by a professional. Or, for a even more intimate couples bucket list goal, you can learn how to give each other a sexy tranquilizing massage.
4. ✦ Go on a Double Date
5. ✧ Stargaze on a Rooftop
6. ✧ Write Each Other a Love Letter
About five years ago I wrote a love letter to my future self, but it got me to thinking that I had never written one to my husband of eighteen years. Let’s bring it back to old school; the days where letters were handwritten, sealed with a kiss and mailed at the post office. Love letters are a physical memory that will last a lifetime.
7. ✧ Play a Sexy Game of Twister
8. ✦ Visit Each Others Hometowns
9. ✦ Binge Watch a New TV Series
Cook up some popcorn, cozy up under a blanket and find the perfect TV series to binge watch. My husband and I just obsessively watched all the seasons of The Good Place and Schitt’s Creek. They were both fantastic!
10. ✦ Create a Couple Scrapbook
11. ✦ Take a Workout Class Together
12. ✦ Have a Picnic
You will have to break out that dusty old picnic basket for this Couples Bucket List idea. Pack it with your favorite bottle of wine, pick a secluded outdoor getaway and create a memory. Need a basket? Check out this cute hand woven picnic basket from Picnic Plus or get a modern 2-person picnic backpack.

Do you remember when the two of you just started your relationship and would spend the wee hours of the morning just talking on the phone? Try to replicate that special period of time by planning an all-nighter that may include chatting, laughing, dancing or taking a late night stroll.
16. ✦ Cook Dinner Together
Food and romance have be linked throughout history, mix in some intriguing conversation and you have the best date night ever. The dishes that you create on this night will become a significant part of celebrating other events in your lifetime. My husband and I have taken cooking classes all over the world (our favorite was learning to make pad thai in Thailand), but none were quite as special as spending a quiet evening at home drinking a bottle of wine and creating delicious recipes.
Here are some helpful resources to get your romantic dinner dinner on the right track:
17. ✧ Come Up With Pet Names For Each Other
A visit to the Mob Museum in Las Vegas initiated me affectionately nicknaming my husband Peter Petey Chops after a famous mobster. Your idea of the perfect pet name may not be after a gambling felon (I totally understand!), so check out these 500 other cute nicknames for him or her.
18. ✦ Sing a Karaoke Duet
Many years ago at a dive bar in Northern California (when we were still just boyfriend and girlfriend), my husband and I belted out “Summer Nights” from the movie Grease. I’m surprised he still married me afterwards! Though the musicality left much to be desired, and they actually turned the volume down on my microphone, it is an experience that we still talk about today.
Muster up the courage to take the stage and create a memory that will last a lifetime. You can steal our song from Grease or check out these top 10 karaoke song duets to pick your special one.

Give up all the chores, take the day off and spend a lazy afternoon (and night!) in bed. Talk, cuddle, gossip, laugh and much more *wink wink*. You will notice the difference instantly. It will bring you close, will help you overcome bitterness and resentment, and help you understand each other better.
32. ✦ Go Bowling
33. ✦ Climb to the Top of a Mountain
Tackle hiking the highest mountain…together. Though the actual hiking part may not reek of romance, the incredible views from the peak will.
